We love it when a horror flick performs well at the box office. We love it even more when said horror flick is inventive and original, such is the case with the new thriller Don’t Breathe from director Fede Alvarez. 26 million at the box office opening weekend led all labor day weekend releases this year. This number was eerily rememiscent of Alvarez’s last theatrical release the 2013 remake of Evil Dead.
